Instruction at Divine Academy of the Arts is balanced between hands-on learning and group participation. Our instruction emphasizes critical thinking and real-world learning experiences.
ACADEMIC PROFILE
At Divine Academy of the Arts, our students’ test results exceed state and national averages. We use nationally normed assessment tests to track and measure our students’ achievement. We adapt our teaching style to the needs of our students.
We BUILD CHARACTER
Character training in a Christian school is one of the supreme goals in Christian education. To train means to exercise, to discipline, to teach and to form by practice. When a student is trained, that training become part of his/her character, helping them do what they have been taught to do. Training builds habits that are commendable and must take place throughout the day, not merely in a “character lesson” taught once a day or once a week.
WE TRAIN
FOR SUCCESS
We relentlessly train students to:
- Respect Authority
- Pay attention
- Obey willingly
- Apply themselves to the task at hand
- Learn rules and apply them
- Do their best
- Learn to work hard
We PRODUCE
POSITIVE RESULTS
Students are encouraged to develop habits of orderliness, carefulness, obedience, honesty, accomplishment, cooperation, perseverance, self-control, attentiveness, fairness, confidence, responsibility, steadfastness, discipline, endurance, helpfulness, neatness, patience, good judgement, and respect.
