Creativity takes center stage at Divine Academy. Our Performing Arts program encourages students to explore their unique gifts through music, dance, theater, and performance while building confidence, discipline, teamwork, and self-expression.
The Beauty of Sound
The Music Arts allows students to explore music and how it relates to our world. Students begin to examine music from the foundation levels and, using a spiral curriculum, continue to build their knowledge of more advanced concepts, such as creating, listening to, and evaluating performances. Students have an opportunity to explore music through multi-sensory approaches: moving, singing, playing, writing, visualizing, and others. The goal is that as a student progresses through the Music Arts, they begin to develop a love for music and how to appreciate music in the world around them.
Visual Arts
At Divine Academy, the Visual Arts encourage students to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and express their unique perspectives. Through drawing, painting, design, and other creative experiences, students build confidence, strengthen critical-thinking skills, and discover the power of imagination and self-expression.
STEM PROGRAM
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
STEM education empowers students to become curious thinkers, creative innovators, and confident problem-solvers through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Students engage in hands-on learning experiences that encourage exploration, experimentation, collaboration, and the practical application of classroom concepts. By developing critical-thinking, technology, and problem-solving skills, students are better prepared to understand the world around them, embrace new challenges, and pursue future opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven world.
