Uniform Policy
Divine Academy follows a required uniform dress code. All students are expected to arrive at school each day wearing the complete, approved Divine Academy school uniform.
Students are expected to comply with the school’s uniform policy each day. Students who report to school out of uniform may be subject to disciplinary action. To ensure compliance and minimize disruption to the learning environment, the school will provide the appropriate uniform item(s), and the cost will be charged to the parent or guardian. The student must change into the appropriate uniform before returning to class.
Detailed uniform requirements are provided in the enrollment packet and school website.
Attendance Policy
SCHOOL HOURS
School Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM
We look forward to partnering with your family and welcoming your student into the Divine Academy community.
Regular attendance is essential for student success. Students are expected to attend school each scheduled school day unless they are ill or an absence has been approved. If a student is absent, a written note explaining the reason for the absence must be submitted to the school office on the day the student returns.
For anticipated absences (such as personal days, vacations, or planned appointments), advance notice must be provided to the school office or classroom teacher:
- One-day anticipated absences require at least two days’ notice.
- Absences lasting one week require at least two weeks’ notice.
Parents and guardians are reminded that school attendance is required under Florida law. Excessive absences may negatively impact academic progress.
Students with more than ten (10) unexcused absences within a nine-week grading period must be reported to the appropriate state authorities in accordance with Florida attendance requirements.
